AlphaTheta has announced that its DJ application rekordbox for iOS/Android is now compatible with Spotify. Spotify is the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service, offering over 100 million tracks and billions of playlists.
With this update, in addition to rekordbox for Mac/Windows, Spotify Premium users can now access Spotify’s vast catalog of licensed music and playlists directly from rekordbox for iOS/Android. They can load their favourite tracks from Spotify straight into rekordbox and DJ using a smartphone or tablet alone, or in combination with compatible DJ equipment such as the DDJ-FLX2, DDJ-FLX4, or DDJ-GRV6.
