Charli XCX, Olivia Dean & The Smashing Pumpkins to headline Lollapalooza 2026

Lollapalooza, the long-running US festival which began as a touring event in 1991, returns for 2026 with a lineup of over 100 artists, including the likes of Charli XCX.

Located in Chicago’s Grant Park, the annual festival takes place from July 30th to August 2nd, delivering four full days of music across eight stages. The festival’s headliners will be Charli XCX, Tate McRae, Olivia Dean, Lorde, John Summit, JENNIE, The Smashing Pumpkins and The XX.

The 2026 festival will also feature artists such as 5 Seconds of Summer, Wet Leg, Geese, Sombr, The Neighbourhood, YUNGBLUD, Beabadoobee, Ethel Cain and Zara Larsson. As well as K-pop stars aespa, I-dle and CORTIS, the lineup also includes a selection of breakout artists, including Finn Wolfhard, ADÉLA, Skye Newman and Audrey Hobert.

This year, Lollapalooza is introducing several hospitality experiences, such as the Northside Suites, located at the Bud Light North main stage. The Northside suites provide hospitality for up to 15 guests per day, provided with premium seating, a private rooftop viewing deck overlooking the stage and the Chicago skyline, and a complimentary all-day food and beverage service.

The suites at Perry’s will offer a similarly elevated hospitality experience by the festival’s dance stage, giving guests a private suite with rooftop viewing, curated dining, complimentary food and beverages and access to VIP amenities around the festival. The Speakeasy lounge, designed for groups of between 25 and 75 guests, provides an exclusive lounge with classic speakeasy styling, complementary food and beverages and a dedicated concierge team.

The festival’s producer, C3 Presents, aims to deliver meaningful engagement programmes around the City of Chicago year-round. Lollapalooza works to support the local community through introducing Chicago youth to creative opportunities in the festival industry and reducing barriers to arts access in Chicago schools. Since 2021, Lollapalooza has invested over $3.9 million in Chicago Public Schools arts education programmes. This includes the Lollapalooza Arts Education Fund, which provides grants to schools for the creation of arts programs and spaces.

These initiatives have expanded arts education access at more than 100 schools, reaching over 65,000 students. Additionally, Lollapalooza has partnered with local nonprofits, such as After School Matters, Community Goods and Yollocalli, in order to integrate art by Chicago youth into the festival.

Lollapalooza hosts the annual Lollapalooza & Sueños Festival Job Fair, which aims to increase access to festival industry career opportunities. The festival also engages with Chicago’s arts and culture community year-round, through ongoing partnerships with Festival University, Teens in the Park Fest, the Chicago Juneteenth Planning Coalition, and Musically Fed.
