Fever acquires DICE to build live entertainment tech powerhouse

Fever has acquired ticketing firm, DICE, with the aim of allowing fans to continue enjoying the fan-first platform while also allowing venues, artists, and promoters to gain access to Fever’s discovery engine and global audience. Fever’s music partners will also be able to list and distribute their experiences through DICE seamlessly.

In the past two years, DICE has more than doubled its ticket sales, surpassing 10 million monthly active fans. The combined value proposition will allow artists, promoters and venues working with DICE to keep using the platform exactly as they are today while also gaining access to Fever’s audience, spanning over 40 countries and reaching 300 million people through its discovery platform and media.

Fever’s music partners include names such as Primavera Sound, Fabrik, Last Tour, Cercle and TCE Presents, while DICE is trusted by iconic venues, festivals, and promoters like Club Space, Newport Jazz and Folk Festival, Sonar, London’s Alexandra Palace and Rough Trade globally.

DICE prioritises the fan experience, ensuring tickets reach real fans through fair, upfront, all-in pricing.

“Together, we are strengthening our position as the leading global tech player for culture and live entertainment,” commented Ignacio Bachiller, Alexandre Perez and Francisco Hein, co-founders of Fever.

“We are on a joint mission to put fans first and provide our partners with the best and most innovative tools. At Fever, we are firm believers that data and technology have the power to elevate the live music experience - making it more accessible, more personalised, and ultimately more impactful for fans, artists, and venues alike.”

“Since launching DICE in 2014, we’ve stayed true to our mission to get people out more by constantly enhancing the fan experience,” added Phil Hutcheon, founder & CEO of DICE.

“From our personalised Discover feature to our upfront, all-in pricing and Waitlist feature, we’ve always put fans first. That same ethos is what we’ve found in Fever. Joining forces allows us to scale even faster. Reaching new cities, helping sell out more shows, and delivering the seamless experience fans expect.

“Over the past few years, scrutiny of the live music industry has captured the attention of mainstream media and fans alike. In that time, DICE has emerged as a relevant force, recognised for prioritising the fan experience and ensuring tickets reach real fans through fair, upfront, all-in pricing. Fever has equally built a reputation as a multi-category, data-driven ecosystem, empowering event producers and connecting global audiences to culture in new and exciting ways.”

Together, the combined scale and capabilities of Fever and DICE answer a growing demand for a consumer-first, innovation-led platform, claim the companies. Built with a technology-first mindset and a commitment to community, this new force hopes to empower artists and venues to grow on their own terms while continuing to serve the creative industries.
