Final announces A2000 in-ear monitor and two VR3000 for Gaming models

Final has announced the new A2000 wired in-ear monitor, along with two new editions to its VR3000 for gaming series: the VR3000 Recable for Gaming and the VR3000 +Condenser Mic for Gaming.

The A2000 is built around Final’s in-house f-Core DU dynamic driver and developed using Final’s new sound-quality evaluation methodology, first developed during the creation of the A10000. Rather than relying solely on fixed sound-pressure testing, Final analysed how music is experienced in real-world listening conditions - across varying volumes and recording qualities.

Final’s in-house 6mm f-Core DU dynamic driver is central to the A2000. A brass front housing reduces magnetic interference, while an ultra-fine 30μm CCAW voice coil improves transient response. Each diaphragm is pressed in small batches with the aim of creating a distortion-free performance.

The A2000 has a three-point support fit: at the ear pocket, eartip and tragus. This aims to reduce pressure while maintaining security. The housing features a two-tone design, pairing black with blue accents, finished with Final’s ‘shibo’ coating to resist fingerprints and maintain a clean appearance.

While five sizes of dual hardiness silicone eartips (SS/S/M/L/LL) are provided for comfort, a high-precision 0.78mm 2-pin connector and soft black OFC cable are used to increase flexibility and comfort levels while reducing microphonics.

The VR3000 Recable model introduces a detachable cable design, so gamers can upgrade to alternative cables or replace the cable independently if needed, extending the lifespan of the product.

It features an in-house 0.78mm 2-pin connector and includes a soft black OFC cable to reduce microphonics and to enable flexibility during long sessions.

The VR3000 +Condenser Mic version supports recabling while also including a condenser microphone for in-game communication.

The mic includes a windscreen sponge to reduce pop noise, and the cable also features integrated controller buttons for volume adjustment.
