Headliner partners with Northside Creative House

Headliner has entered into an exciting new JV with Northside Creative House in Leeds, a new, multi-purpose professional studio complex which will champion local talent, and educate and inspire young people.

Leeds is a vibrant city with plenty of artists and venues, but not many studios; and this launch will aim to bridge that gap. Like all Headliner studio initiatives, Northside will also offer charitable support for underprivileged youngsters in the region with an interest in music and the arts as a career or even a hobby.

Located adjacent to the city’s iconic Beaver Works live music venue, Northside will boast several recording studios, video production and podcasting facilities, and a DJ school, making it a great all rounder for the creative sector. Headliner will also help supercharge the space to the highest of standards to enable artists to cut fully professional records completely in-house.

Young people need outlets and opportunity to explore creativity and that is exactly what our space will provide. Rian Zoll-Khan, Headliner Group COO

“Growing up in Yorkshire, it’s always seemed difficult to access certain things within the industry, and it’s always felt like you had to go to other cities to try and make something happen,” said Northside owners, Adam and Nathan Hassan. “So, the idea was formed to build a creative community and help support talent while bringing together artists, DJs, photographers and videographers to work together to build a solid network up north.”

“Leeds is where I was born, and holds a special place in my family; we came from the tough areas of Chapeltown and Harehills, so this collaboration with local talent is very close to me,” states Headliner Group COO and RNR Management CEO, Rian Zoll-Khan. “It’s a fantastic music city with a vibrant culture and deserves to have a creative hub powered by Headliner and our friends in the pro audio and music industries.

“Young people need outlets and opportunity to explore creativity and that is exactly what our space will provide as well as becoming one of the best, high-end facilities in the city for commercial use.”

Northside Creative House will open in March 2025.
