Music Week Poland announces lineup for its second year

It has been announced that Music Week Poland will be returning to Warsaw from the sixth to the 10th of May, 2026, bringing artists and industry professionals together from across Europe.

The event will offer live music, conference sessions, and industry education. The conference programme will take place at the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw, located at the Warsaw Citadel.

The first 10 artists have been announced, and so far the lineup includes Polish artists Ciśnienie, daltonists and Loveworms, Bulgarian sibling duo IVA, Slovenian band Haiku Garden and Norwegian collective Mildfire. It also includes I Love You Honey Bunny from Czechia, Romanian duo K not K, Estonian band Echo Love, and Luna Kills from Finland.

Justin O’Connor, author of the book Culture is Not an Industry, has been announced as the first keynote speaker.

“This keynote is a bold call to action,” said O’Connor. “It invites us to reimagine culture not as a commodity, but as a vital part of democratic life - a space for resistance, imagination, and change. In an era of global upheaval, culture must reassert its political power and reconnect with a radical vision for a fairer future.”

Poland ranks 16th among the world’s music markets. It serves as a natural bridge between East and West - but also connects North and South Tamara Kamińska

The event is led by CEO Tamara Kamińska and artistic director Jarek Szubrycht, and is collaboratively organised by The Society of Authors and Stage Composers (ZAiKS) and Culture Hub Poland (formerly Music Export Poland).

“There’s no need to explain why Music Week Poland was created. In fact, it’s much harder to explain why it didn’t exist for so many years,” said Kamińska. “Poland ranks 16th among the world’s music markets. It serves as a natural bridge between East and West - but also connects North and South. Moreover, the local music industry - from live performance to recording - is growing dynamically, and Polish artists and professionals are achieving ever-greater international success. We want to build and nurture relationships with our neighbours near and far, believing that healthy competition is rooted in cooperation.”

Music Week Poland first took place in June 2025 in Warsaw, and it featured over 60 showcase performances from a range of artists, alongside the industry conference. Music Week Poland’s 2026 edition will also offer workshops and masterclasses for both artists and music professionals, aiming to create an environment where creative minds, business leaders and cultural innovators can exchange knowledge and explore new opportunities.
