The 88R LBC captures the same precision VCA topology that defines the 88RS console. Delivering accuracy and transparency to any studio, the 88RS is trusted by Abbey Road, Air Studios, and The Village - the 88R LBC is optimised to add the sonic authority of large-format console compression to a rack.
Intelligent output compensation adjusts automatically as users dial in threshold and ratio, delivering simplicity in an analogue format. Console-grade headroom and performance is also delivered in a format optimised for modern workflows, drawing less than 100mA while maintaining uncompromised transient response.
Additional product features include: group compression capabilities, variable sidechain filtering (Off / 80Hz / 125Hz / 300Hz) for precise tonal control, adaptive attack and triple-time-constant auto release for natural, musical response and up to 50dB of gain reduction with variable ratios from 1.5:1 to full limiting.
