Olivia Dean secures longest-running number one album by British female artist this decade

Released in September 2025, The Art of Loving, Dean’s second studio album, has now spent seven consecutive weeks at number one, surpassing Adele’s 30.

The album was certified Platinum in the UK on January 9th, 2026. Following this, Dean was awarded the Best New Artist award at the 68th Grammy awards in February 2026.

Beyond reaching major chart milestones and achieving a Grammy win, data from music technology company Audoo shows that Dean’s tracks are the most frequently played in cafes and pubs.

Public performance data shows that Brits opt for Olivia Dean’s music in public venues over legends like Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. Public plays of Dean’s music have soared by 129% since the release of The Art of Loving, and she currently sits as the number one artist on Audoo’s public performance charts.

Man I Need and So Easy (To Fall in Love) are currently the most publicly played tracks in the UK.

This data comes directly from Audoo’s Audio Meter, which monitors real-time music plays across bars, cafés and shops nationwide, offering a snapshot of what Brits are listening to in their day-to-day schedule.
