RoEx integrates with Ableton Live for AI-assisted mixing

Music tech startup RoEx has announced Ableton Live Set Export - its new integration with digital audio workstation Ableton Live. Reportedly designed for seamless collaboration between RoEx’s AI-driven Automix platform and Ableton Live, Ableton Live Set Export is said to empower creators to achieve professional-quality mixes faster, with more creative control.

RoEx states that this integration simplifies a once-daunting part of music production, allowing artists to craft industry-standard mixes in minutes and refine their work within the trusted environment of Ableton Live. For users of Bitwig Studio and PreSonus Studio One, the platform’s new DAWproject export reportedly adds more flexibility to streamline workflows.

“Our integration with Ableton Live marks a significant step toward making professional-grade music production accessible to all,” shared David Ronan, CEO of RoEx. “Automix provides a starting point that reflects each artist’s unique sound, while the export feature allows them to build on that foundation with full creative freedom. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to accelerate their workflow without sacrificing quality or individuality.”

Since its debut in 2023, Automix is said to have enabled thousands of DIY musicians and producers to craft balanced, release-ready tracks without the steep learning curve of traditional mixing tools. By combining human-trained AI technology with user-friendly design, RoEx is putting advanced production capabilities into the hands of music makers with any level of expertise.

With this latest update, RoEx shared that musicians can generate professional-quality mixes, leveraging human-trained AI to balance multitrack audio. Another key feature is that subscribers will receive an Ableton Live Set (ALS format) or DAWproject file, including audio stems and initial settings for levels, panning, compression, EQ and reverb on each track. Furthermore, users can also adjust their mix and effects within Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio or PreSonus Studio One, enabling full creative control.

Reportedly, over 1.2 million tracks have been improved using RoEx tools to date, and RoEx states that this latest integration signifies a new era of collaboration between AI and human creativity. Since its launch, Automix has provided DIY musicians and producers the opportunity to create professional-grade mixes in minutes. Music makers can upload their multitrack audio and mix up to 16 audio tracks simultaneously. By automating the technical challenges of mixing, Automix allows users to focus on their creativity while reportedly achieving industry-standard sound.

RoEx states that this update reflects its ongoing commitment to removing barriers for creators at all stages of the production process. With AI trained by professional audio engineers, Automix reportedly offers an affordable and accessible solution for music makers with any level of expertise.

Automix is available to trial for free, with Pro subscriptions priced at £14.99/€14.99/$14.99 per month. Pro users gain access to premium features, including WAV downloads, unlimited mixes, and the new export capabilities.
